Timber Ridge is the perfect place to be in God’s creation and hear God’s Word. Nestled in the mountains of West Virginia, and bordered by a lazy flowing river, campers are immediately immersed in the wonder of nature while being surrounded by staff who love the Lord and are committed to creating a camp experience that is fun, rewarding, spiritually challenging and life altering.

What To Bring

Welcome to Timber Ridge Bible Camp! We're so excited to have you at camp this summer! We hope you're ready for a week filled with God's Word, great preaching, good food, and fun-filled activities. We do have a few things we would like you to know as you prepare to come to camp.

Dress Code

As a part of a good Christian testimony, TRBC will have a dress standard for all campers and sponsors. All of our staff will also dress to these standards.

Chapel

BOYS

Collared shirt
Jeans or khakis

GIRLS

Nice top
Dress or skirt (knee length) - a jean skirts is acceptable

Active Wear

BOYS

T-shirt
Jeans, athletic pants, or shorts (knee length)

GIRLS

T-shirt
Shorts (knee length),loose fitting jeans, loose athletic pants or capris

Water Wear

BOYS

Light colored t-shirt
Trunks or shorts (knee length)

GIRLS

Light colored t-shirt and knee length shorts (to wear over bathing suit while walking to the pool)
Bathing Suit (one piece or tankini that over laps at the waist)

*NO BIKINIS*

Rules for Everyone

No form fitting attire and no worldly graphic tee shirts (no cut off/sleeveless shirts)
Jeans may not have "Fashion" rips or tears

Packing List

Essential Items

Bible and journal
Spending money for Trading Post and Craft Shop (most campers bring $50 - $75)
Toiletries (bathroom supplies and towels)
Insect repelent (optional)
Camera (optional)
Clothes (as listed above)
Bedding (Sleeping bag or comforter, twin sheets, blankets, and pillow)
Flashlight
Water Bottle
Medications if needed (all meds will be turned into the nurse and be dispensed as needed)
